White lights or colored light on the Christmas tree? (I can't decide) help?

Well what we do is put colored lights on our tree and outside we put clear , red , blue , green and colored but if you have no outside try putting lights up all over your house have fun it's Christmas =) Good Luck Marry Christmas

Well for me when I was single or just married with no kids I only did white bec it was elegant. Now with kids I have color everywhere and I even have a fiber optic tree that changes colors. The kids love it. When they are out of the house I will go back to elegant white with pretty ornaments :)

white lights look classic and homey, and color lights look brilliant. I think that colored lights a re really pretty if you have a lot of color in the room. if the room is slightly plain or with one color,then I suggest you put white lights on. trust me, I am going to college to be an interior desighner.

I like both white lights or ligts with colors on them but I do not like "multi-color" lights, i.e. lights with red, blue, yellow and green all in one stand. It looks terrible. Total tackola which Christmas already is even when you try not to go overboard.
