get here some books about greek mythology. or maybe get her interested in the fact that the romans took the greek gods, renamed them and used them as their own. or maybe you could get her interested in norweigen mythology.....take the fact that she likes mythology into mind and try broadening that into an intrest of philosophy or theology. when i became interested in mythology that is what it led to for me. it is a great interest to have, and you learn alot about regions of the world via faiths or even why are some people the way they are etc.

She likes Greek mythology? Run on over to Barnes&Noble dot com and buy her The Iliad and the Odyssey by Homer. Two books in 1. It's a hard back and it all comes at the cheap price of $19.98. 700 pages, 1 book, a couple of months of reading.

You're probably thinking "that book isn't at a 3rd grade level". Well, that's just one thing you can do. Option number two would be. . . Get her a book about basic Greek mythology for children (they do have those), that way she can build up her knowledge now for the tougher books tommorrow.

If you don't want to bore your child with books, you can always get some DVDs about dragons and mythology. Right?

But PLEASE, whatever you do, please don't buy her an XBOX 360 or a PS3. The last thing we need is another child's brain damaged by a product that's going to waste your money and your child's time. A lot of parents are looking at video games as a way out of having to actually LOOK for a gift. Well, that's not a good idea. Video games IMO, waste time, don't develop a creative mind and you know there are a lot better options.

That's just my two cents, thanks for listening.

Sticking strictly to your question suggestions i could say the vtech mobi, although, so as to ward off it in the toybox, this is going to likely be scheduled supervised use, like have a examining time the place you, her and your 2-yo all have a examining time or perhaps merely before mattress. I actually could get an ereader for the family. I definitely have one and prefer it, have 2 Sony's and merely have been given the hot Sony this week. Its super. you may desire to get purely a reader or a tabletif you desire one that still exhibits movies etc. Sony has super pills besides yet merely locate what you desire.
