Good! I hope that stingrays kill a lot more people! I love it when animals get even!

Definitely sharks. Stingrays are still docile, but they've just had bad publicity lately-plus, the stuff that happened were freak things. I've even swam with huge, massive stringrays, but they're just as friendly as puppy dogs. (these were used to being around people though, in a place called Stingray City)

Firstly i must tell you stingrays are a docile animal. Steve Ewin was riding the stingray when it stung him so the stingray was only protecting itself. Most cases of stingray injury's have been from people accidently stepping on them- again they are protecting themselves. I don't think any animal 'has it out for humans'. It's all part of the food chain...
So i would be more afraid of a shark than a Stingray.

i think both of them deserve a bit of respect. Stingrays have been making the news lately. Sharks always have.

As tragic as some events have been, the bottom line is if you go into any animals habitat you better be prepared to face consiquences. While some facilities do great things for animals injured or endangered, an wild animal does not belong in a cage for our amusement. If people want to see a stingray or a shark get in a wetsuit and take your chance's. It pisses me off when I see commericials or advertisements for Zoos with Lions and Tigers and other animals locked in kennels.

Stingray for sure. Even the name is scarier than shark.

Shark! I've swam/snorkeled with sting rays (always giving them a respectful distance of course) and I've been in 2 feet of water just a few yards from shore and had a small shark "bump" my leg--it was only after the water turned red and my leg started to sting did I realize the "brushing up" against me was like scrubbing my skin with sandpaper....think of what the scar looks like!
