Let's assume you have the space and resources to look after it properly and it doesn't mind being your pet.
I'd quite like a penguin.

I'd have an otter and name him Billy. He'd sleep in bed with me. I'd build him a little nature area with a swimming hole and a lovely warm rockbed to sleep on.
Billy and I would be very happy.

Hi there...it would be a cheetah. Cheetahs are one exotic cat that no one can legally have as a pet because they are a protected/endangered species. In 1900 there were only about 100,000 cheetah worldwide - present estimates place their number at 10 to 15 thousand with about 1/10 of those living in captivity. Namibia has the largest population of wild cheetah - about 2500. Smaller populations exist in Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania while 19 other countries have even fewer.

A chimpanzee. But I would dress it as a human and treat it like a baby brother/sister *lol*.
More realistically though I'd love some pigs, sheep and chickens (as well as numerous cats and dogs). Living in London makes that a bit tricky a the mo, so I'll have to wait til I move.

I've always wanted a horse, but I'd have to get a goat too. Horses should never have to be alone, but I don't think I should jump right into 2 or 3 until I get used to having one. I want a small dog too. I heard about this one that bairly makes noise when it barks. I don't remember what it's name is. Too much barking/meowing drives my husband crazy.

Ace Ventura, the sicko, put it in a cage, whatever it is and let it watch the films and the comic series 24 hours a day, see if it still likes domesticated animals....
