It is unlikely to harm you or the baby as long as you can kepp down fluids. go to your doctor and get checked out, but don't worry this sometimes happenms in preganacy.

When pregnant, your body will take for the baby first and what is left will be for you.
This is normal to feel this way and a few things help, but not all help for everyone.
Soda crackers in small doses can help. Some feel the salt is what helps along with the soda in the cracker.
Your body is giving most of its carbs to the baby right now and that could be why you are feeling sick. The best thing to try and eat for this concern is dried apricots. They are very high in carbs and small enough that you do not have to eat a lot of them.
Sometimes even when you are sick, you can get a craving for a certain food item that you may not even like when not pregnant. Go ahead and try the item that you are craving, as long as it is edible.
Your body will tell you much more than any doctor or person can when it comes to pregnancy and foods that your body will accept.
My doctor gave me no natural ways to control the sickness, but my midwife gave me these tips and much more. I really do not like apricots , dried or otherwise, but they helped immensely and I ate them for that reason alone. Have not had them since though!

Try to take a prenatal vitamin later in the day with something in your stomach, even if it's just some crackers. Early in pregnancy this is normal and should pass about at about 16 weeks. I was very sick during my whole pregnancy with my daughter but everything was fine. Try eating frequent small meals or snacks, avoid the foods that you know make you sick, try eating bland foods like dry toast, crackers, broth, etc. Hot tea might help but avoid herbal teas. Peppermint candies also soothe your stomach. Stay away from dairy. I'm going through my third pregnancy and have tried just about everything. The prenatal vitamin is very important though. If anything try taking it before bed. I'm sure you and your baby will be fine. Good Luck!

Oh hun, so sorry. I went through this horribly with my third child too. ....."Another symptom that preggies should be informed about in their first doctors visit is that Morning sickness is a load of c#$p!!! If I ever find the moron that named it that I will strangle him! I say “him” because it so obviously must have been a man. It should have been named All Day sickness!! Not always, I have talked to moms who did not have it, although I have consistently been lucky enough to experience it. And it seemed to get worse with each pregnancy. With my first it wasn’t so bad, a touch of it here or there. I could pretty much control it if I watched what I ate and drank. If I stayed away from caffeine and sugar I was okay, in fact the only two things that I could drink for those 10 months was water or Tang! " (this is an excerpt from a pregnancy book I am working on....I will be posting parts of it on my blog if you wanna check it out at:(http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fus... In my book I discuss symptoms, and many things that doctors neglect to cover with expectant mothers. Hope some of that info is helpful!)

i actually spoke to my midwife bout this this morning. ive gone off meat completely, and my body will only alow a little soup and fruit or fruit juice. that has basically been my diet for the past few weeks
she said its enough at this early stage and wont harm the baby. youll suffer a little more. symptoms like tiredness can be exaggerated.
try really fleshy, juicy fruit like melon, grapes and some berries, a banana before you get out of bed with some water may help if your sick early on in the day.
strangley if your stomach is empty you tend to feel more sick as ur body is telling you ur hungry.
ive been told to eat protein as it keeps me fuller for longer but i just cannot face it at all
stick with the juice try different kinds and combinations it will give you a range of vitamins and u should have enough energy from these as they have a lot of sugar. definatly give the fleshy fruit ago its working for me

The way you are feeling is very normal as the hormones in your body have basically doubled and that can make you feel very average indeed. You may never vomit, I never vomitted with my son, but with my daughter I threw up 2x a day for the first 4 months. If the nausa or vomittting continues into the 6th or 7th month then tell your treating physician/midwife. It's important that your physician/midwife knows everything no matter how silly you may think it is.
At this point of your pregnancy suppressed appitite is nothing to worry about. In a few weeks you'll probably be so hungry that you'll eat a weeks worth of food in a day...LMAO...That's what happened to me in all my pregnancies.
Good Luck and Congradulations

You and your baby will most likely be OK, especially if you are able to tolerate/maintain fluids. Along with juice, try frozen treats, broth, jello. If your urine remains light yellow, then you're not dehydrated. You really should consult your OB, because there are several nausea meds that are perfectly safe to use in pregnancy. If you're taking your prenatal vitamin in the morning - stop. Try taking it at bedtime (you aren't awake for the first few hours when the nausea from them is at it's worst.) Or, if you can't tolerate them at bedtime - try taking Flintstone vitamins. I'm serious, that's what our OB's have their patients do all the time.
Follow your MD's instructions, and try keep well hydrated. Keep focusing on the outcome, and having that cute, cuddly baby to love.

I have been through pregnency twice.Feeling nautious is normal.BUt being pregnent getting the right nutrition is very important for you and your baby.YOu need to be taking prenatal vitamins and you need to see your GYN regulary.I strongly suggest that you see the doctor and explain to him what you feel. The doctor really is the only one who can make the right suggestions. All i can tell you is what i did for nausea.I would keep some saltine crackers by my side and a bottle of water.IT seemed to help.Sometimes feeling sick is because in fact you are actually hungry and the baby is takin all of your nutrients.AS a mom to be you want your baby to be healthy so evrything you eat and drink is for your baby.So tell yourself that if you don't eat then your baby isn't eating either.I know you don't want to starve your baby so try to force yourself.I promise you that usually the nautious thing is only in the beginning.once you get through the first trimester it will get better.good luck

the only way it could harm you if you become dehydrated.at least you are able to keep down juice.are you taking vitamins? eat some dry toast and crackers in the morning. if the morning sickness gets worse where you are losing to much weight , then i would tell the doctor so he can do something for you.

you'll be just fine!! many women (including me) actually lose weight the first trimester due to morning sickness WITH vomiting and loss of appetite. take you vitamin at night so that it bothers you less and so that it has time to be absorbed before you are getting sick if you start to get sick. the vitamin will do all the nutritional work for a short period of time--it should cover you the first trimester.

I had 6 pregnancies, in which I was sick the entire 9 months with all of them. Keep drinking fluids, and eat healthy, and you will be fine.
