I received a cheque from a lawyer after a settlement and the cheque was rejected by the bank what can I do about it ?
Can I sue my own Lawyer ?

If your lawyer issued you a check as a result of a settlement and the check bounced, it is a very serious matter. Try to contact the lawyer, if you think it is appropriate. If he is not immediately responsive, consider filing a complaint with the Legal Services Commission. You can learn more on their site.
I suspect you can sue your own lawyer. Certainly this occurs in the United States, another common-law country, though that is no guarantee that it is possible in AU.
