I am currently in an amazing relationship with someone who is set up in the town the I am currently living in. I will soon be faced with the decision of staying here with him or persuing my career goals. I have to go away for 6+ years in order to achieve my career goal. I am very much in love with him and have always wished for someone like him. Should I stay with him or leave...if I stay what will come of us? More importantly I would like to know what will become of us if I do stay...marriage or not? Thank you!

You should stick to your goals
If you are afraid to stick to your goals and find it easier to put your faith of love into the hands of this man ?
Then do it the answer lies within you
If he loves you he will want to be with you he would not stop you from fore filling your goals
I added this quote for you : )

Nothing you love is lost.
Not really.
Things, people - they always go away, sooner or later.
You can't hold them, any more than you can hold moonlight.
But if they've touched you, if they're inside you, then
they're still yours.
The only things you ever really have are the ones you hold inside your heart.

Love & Blessings
Milly

I think the most important thing for you right now - your top priority - is to concentrate on your education so that in the future you will be able to have a good career. Sacrificing that isn't fair to you or him. You deserve to accomplish what you want to accomplish in life, and that will make you happy first and foremost. Later, when you are established in the career field you aspire to be in, it will be much easier to focus on other priorities. This isn't to say you can't be together. If people truly love eachother I believe that love can work, even if you have to take time away to focus on education, career goals, etc. If you are meant to be with him then you will, but I suggest pursuing your goals, because in the future you may be unhappy with the choices you made earlier on.

I'm no psychic, obviously, but I am being faced with the same problem at this moment. I have always been in love with horses, and I now have the chance to work with them for a living or stay here in town.

I have of course chosen my life's calling, as he can always move with me when he finishes up his classes.

i'm no psychic, bt you can tell him to move with you.
If You go and be there in the career thingy, be aware that your lover may leave you. cuz it's definitely a long time, if he leaves you, he's no good for you. But i'm sure that your lover won't do that. If he says he can't move, why can't he? think about that reason. cuz maybe he's lying.

Feels to me like it would be harder for you to stay than to leave. If you stay I feel you will eventually leave anyway and with regrets.
Leave. Other things will happen on your way to pursuing your goals.

You will not be happy if you opt to stay with him. You will always think about what you gave up for him and in the long run he will not be the star in your eye, someone else will. Rich or Robert.
