Will you have a fake tree or a real?
I have just finished putting the one up for work it is a fake one and my arms are really itchy now.
Haven't even thought about putting it up at home, but although i love a real christmas tree and that smell is devine, think we will be settling for a fake one this year.

I've just finished putting the school tree up it was a real one, each class has a real one and there are two more in the hall and library.
They look beautiful but I find it sad that all of those trees were cut down just for 3 weeks of pleasure.
My home tree will go up today and it's fake.

We have a real tree. The only problem is that every year it falls down at least 2 or 3 times. I would like a fake one but... We usually put our tree up about 1 or 2 weeks before christmas

I put my Christmas tree on Saturday. I also have a fake tree. I know, when you put a fake Christmas you have to make it like a real tree, decided what goes top and bottom, and my arms itch when I it.I like the real tree because it smell pine and it good to used for Christmas.

Ours has been up since last weekend - but its not decorated yet - Its Pre-lit so I've been turning the lights on & it looks Pretty - Its a White Fake one with Multi-colored lights
I usually dont like the White ones but this one reminded me of Candyland or a GingerBread house with the colors & its my Daughter's First Christmas so I wanted something that would catch her attention - she stared at this Tree in the store more than the Green ones - so it was a no brainer to get the White one - WE LOVE IT - I'm glad I got it & cant wait to buy more ornaments for it & decorate it soon

Our tree is fake.
We put it (and the decorations) up 12 days before Christmas and take it down 12 days after (although last year we were so busy the decorations didn't go up til the week before Christmas day).
Fake ones are more ecologically friendly anyway.

I've always had a real christmas tree. My boyfriends parents offered to buy us a nice fake one when we moved in, but I was horrified - no fake trees for me. :)
My tree will probably be going up the 16th or 17th. And you're right - real ones DO smell better, but if you have to settle for a fake, buy some pine scented room spray or candles, it will at least make up for it some. :)

I put mine up today.
Its a fake on so we don't have to hoover up the pine needles.
I was not going to put it up until it was December, I was completely adamant about that! Some people near where I live have already had their trees & decorations up for a week or so but I think its a bit ridiculous & makes things drag on too long, it spoils the whole atmosphere.
I'm very proud of how I decorated my tree though!

I'm putting mine up tomorrow, cant wait for my little girl to see it , i always use a fake one, having little ones in the house with a real tree can get really messy, i cant wait i love Christmas.

Artificial tree for me and it will be going up on Wednesday.
I would love to get a living Christmas tree though, not one that has been cut down.
