Funnily enough Ryan Giggs was captain of England Schoolboys, and was allowed, because he went to school in England. He is Welsh by birth with no direct English ancestry so doesn’t qualify to play for the senior England side... Unfortunately......

Ryan Giggs was born in Cardiff, Wales so he's eligible to play for WALES instead of ENGLAND.

Having read his autobiography,he was born in wales,and only represented enlgand schoolboys due to living there,but he's a true welshman,so when that came about,it was the only option he really wanted.

he was born in Cardiff, only schooled in England. Are you suggesting if you had a choice the obvious is England. my son is 8 months old and if hes decides to play football and is good enough he is eligible for 5 different nations,wales were he was born,Singapore were his mother was born,NORTHERN IRELAND were i was born,grand father from Trinidad,grandmother English. and to think he would pull on an England shirt one day and be hounded by your press booed by his own fans, vandalise his house scares me NO THANKS !
