Having a very consistant pitcher is always better than having a middle/late lineup SS with little power and an average at best glove. Both are still relatively young so it's hard to say who is going to have a better career when all is said and done but Peavy is on the right track.

It's hard to say who the better player since one is a pitcher and the other is a position player. I think the question should be who is more valuable to the team. The answer to that is Jake Peavy. San Diego are in talks to acquire Manny Ramirez but didn't want to give up Peavy so that just shows you how valuable Peavy is.

I like Khalil Greene but I think Peavy is better. I don't have a reason. That's just what I think.

At least Peavy had a couple of very good years, and has some talent...Greene is one of the worst shortstops in baseball...He can't hit and his RF of 4.04 is right at the bottom for all full time ML shortstops...I don't know exactly where that 4.04 ranks him but, Derek Jeter at 4.14 was 23rd...

I know for a fact Greene is not the worst shortstop in baseball the Royals have Angel Berroa..Who is not only a terrible player, he could care less..
