It was a mob hit. JFK and Bobby were deep in the mob, Bobby more so. They double crossed them on certain issues.
Lee Harvey Oswald was a pawn they used since he made visits to the then off limits Russia.
Everyone needs a fall guy.
Jack Ruby was sent in to off Oswald before he could sing like a canary.
