you have three bars...but do you have the G symbol next to your antenna icon?

simply speaking, the sidekick is constantly in communication with the network...checking email, IM's, and syncing up the data you have in the phone..notes, reminders, calender, phone book.

if you don't have the G symbol, then it means while you have a tower signal, you don't have data signal. it's not uncommon. some older towers just don't have the data hookups.

if you have the G symbol, then there's the possibility that the sidekick data link is down. it's happened a couple times in the past causing major outages for some or all of the people using sidekick II's. it should fix itself.
