I was a floater (or a politician as I was called by some people). Because I got along and hung out with all groups. I mostly hung out with football and basketball players because I was a cheerleader but I was no snob. I had snobby friends but I was one of the few that was nice to everyone. I defended the "dorks", I guess I have always been an advocate for the underdog. I learned that from my mom because she was very big on empathy. But I went to high school in the 90s. That wasn't long ago but even over the past 9 years since I've been out things have really changed. Now the dorks are shooting up the snobs for picking on them.

I was somewhere in between the "popular" kids and the so called "nerds". Tho,i did associate with kids from every clique and come grade 12 and a lil bit of grade 11,everyone talked to eachother and hung out with eachother no matter what "clique". I think as we all grew up a lil bit we realized that we're all pretty equal, meaning we all had certain qualities no matter who we were, and we had to graduate with everyone in our grade and would most likely be seeing eachother the rest of our lives in some way or another.

I'm a "floater" too. I don't consider my closest friends any certain clique. I am also friends with "preps", cheerleaders, "band geeks", "emo's", "jocks", etc. But I'm not sure what me and my closest group of friends are. Ever since we started High School, we've grown further apart... :(
