Why is lesbianism is considered "being in the light?

I heard one of my co-worker say to another co-worker (both are lesbians) - Good morning my sister in the light. So I thought it was a lesbian thing. --- Just curious

I have never heard of the term. It sounds interesting, perhaps an "In the clear light of day" type of statement.
I would like to know the answer too.

IT IS WRONG,BUT I THINK THAT KIDS OR TEEN TODAY THINK IT COOL...GOD DIDNT MAKE US FOR EACH OTHER HE MADE FOR MEN......
