Think about what your brother likes as in clothing, hobbies, etc....
And then get him a gift certificate to a place that sells that stuff. If he is really in to cars and spends every moment of free time on his ride then get him a gift certificate to pep boys or something. Or if he really likes a clothing store in the mall, say Hot Topic, then get him a gift certificate there. Maybe he really likes music, you could get him a gift certificate to a music store like Sam Goody or F.Y.E. Does he need tools? You could get him a gift certificate for sears to get some craftsman tools.
You could get him something he would be embarresed over once opening. And then maybe next year he will tell you. You know like if he opened his gift from you and it was a gigantic dildo. The look on his and your parents faces would be great. Then next year to avoid that kind of trama he would tell you.
I think if you would have given your brothers age and maybe a few interests or hobbies you could have gotten a better answer.
Good luck, and remember you can never go wrong with a gift card to Wal-Mart.
Or don't get him anything and maybe next year he will tell you what he wants. Or just make him a card using crayons and white paper.

Money! If he doesn't even want that, you can send it to me.
Seriously, I saw this thing on America's funniest home vidoes. They had a box filled with balloons with money hung from each balloon. When the box was opened, all the balloons sprung to the ceiling and money was just floating all over the room.
That looked SO COOL! Red and Green Balloons would be awesome to use. You could do dollars or fives or whatever increment you wanted. You may be able to go to the bank and get the 2 dollar bills too. Awesome stuff there.

Cooking and making goodies are a sturdy idea! you are able to purely get some low priced bars of chocolate, a ice dice tray and a sheet of cellophane. positioned 6 or 7 chocs in some cellophane, then bunch it up on the accurate and tie it with a touch ribbon. I did this for my acquaintances christmas promises...they loved it! It seems truly professional and its basic, too! purely melt some chocolate, pour it in the mold and positioned into the refrigerator! :) wish this permits! x
