it's not horrendous, but it can be depressing. It's awful watching other people kissing around ya. but i think it's worth waiting for the right guy to come along. i'd rather be single than date some loser that doesn't care, wouldn't you?

I like being single. I'd like to be in a relationship, but I know from experience that being in a relationship that doesn't work is much worse than living alone, so I've decided to be sure that a man is worth my time (a very precious thing!) before getting into anything serious.
What would it take for you to be happy being single? (Sure, buckets of money would be nice, but really, what would you need to be happy?) What's keeping you from getting whatever that is? Go for it, and get yourself to a happy space on your own. Then if you happen to meet somebody, he's more likely to be good for you and it'll be more likely to last. Good luck!

I am fine with it - you just need to learn to be content whether you are single or dating somebody. It is always easier to think the other side has it better.

I love it. I need lots of time alone and I love my independence. I don't think I could be involved with anyone. It would mean giving up too much.
