There are a group of people that are either completely joyless, or lack the wit to recognize humor.
And yes it's a political question because the deficient party also elects dour, angry, and vengeful officials.

That depends. The democrats definitely THINK they have a great sense of humor, always making stupid jokes about Bush and the other people that just happen to be protecting them... I think I laugh hardest at the republicans, cause theirs are actually funny and only make fun of what deserves to be made fun of. Such as michael moore.... quoting "Roley poly, daddy's little fatty, gonna grow to be a man someday (maybe)" lol still laugh at that one. Yes my political opinions are getting in the way here.

I am a Dem. and I really wanted to say the Dems are the ones with a sense of humor, because I occasionally enjoy answering political questions with humor. The Reps just get angry, don't get the humor.
However, after giving your question more thought, I decided it must be the Reps that have a better sense of humor. C'mon look at the person they put at the top of the heap! And they look up to him to this day! If that's not humor, I don't know what is. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ewww!
Look at Cheney! He looks like Scrooge. Look at Rumsfeld. Vengeful. Angry.

those i have as contacts are full of humor and it really is way from dry. on the least your questions revealed, each and every time I ask a question about Canadians, Yahoo received't even post them. some do have a sturdy experience of humor about themselves and some do no longer. they're no diverse from another nationality or social team on top right here.

All the Conservative Newspaper Columnists are very witty and have a great sense of humor.
So does Radio Talk Show Great, Rush.
Read them and see.
Then read the Democrat Newspaper Columnists. They are so mad and full of hate.

That's an easy one: The conservatives have a better sense of humor because any time you make fun of a Democrat, they get huffy-puffy and want to either sick the ACLU on you or run your name into the ground. The Republicans know that W isn't the swiftest cat in the farmhouse, but they love him anyway.
