Why don't radio stations play protest music on the radio anymore?

Because the dangerous government-run society we live in controls the radio airwaves! (Ever hear of the FCC?) Anybody who speaks out against Bush is deemed "unpatriotic," un-American," and "if you're not with us, you're against us."
Jingoistic brown-nosers like Toby Keith wrap themselves in flags and get awards; while free-speech exercisers like the Dixie Chicks get sneered at by a moronic chimp whose daddy bought him the presidency, and who condescendingly said "shut up and you won't get your feelings hurt!"

So, the fact that the Powers that Be control what people are allowed to say may have something to do with the fac that protesting voices are not allowed to be heard anymore. Peron, Hitler, Stalin, Castro, Mao Tse-Tung, and every other tyrant bully silenced their critics as well.

They don't because the corporations that run them had put them on a 'do not play' list that was put out after 9-11.

Apathy. Many young people feel like they can't change anything so why try.
