i dont think there is really an age, it just depends on your size, and what style you like, often in the junior department there are some "more conservative" things, that are appropriate for any age,,,, at 22 i think you can wear anything, at 32 or 42, you might want to pass up the latest teen styles, but still should have a good selection of things to choose from,,,,, im 52, like to dress mature, but at same time rarely find anything in misses that doesnt look "old lady" or is too big,,,, the exception is a suit,,,, i find nice jackets and skirts at Belks ,,,,,misses dept.

Every cell has DNA and it is consisted of two strands tightly woven around each other. The thing that prevents the two strands from breaking apart is called a telomeric cap (which is random nucleotide sequences called nonsense codons. Codon is a 3 sequence of nucleotides that codes for amino acids eg. CUU is a amino acid called proline . A nonsense codon is one that doesnt code for any amino acid production) Every time your cells divide a small sequence is lost there by reducing the stability of the cell's DNA (in layman's terms). This will eventually lead do most of Ur cells' DNA becoming unstable. And usually when a mistake occurs in DNA the cell will perform auto cytolysis (cell suicide) to prevent problems. So when you are old most of ur cells telomeric caps will be low and they are prone to die when they try to divide.. Whats really interesting about this theory is the impact it has on evolution (because this happens on both meiotic as well as mitotic divisions. which means that a species grows old too before it mutates.. but thats a different story)

Start shopping in the misses dept when your figure fits the clothes.
Junior clothing has a different fit than Misses clothing. Junior clothing is for teenagers. Misses clothing is for adult ladies.
Sorry, you're wrong. Most of the misses clothes are NOT baggy. You're picking the wrong things or looking in the wrong stores. If you really look hard enough, and in the right store, you'll find Missy clothes that are form-fitting.
I used to wear Junior clothing when I was a teen. Once I hit 21, they no longer fit me right anymore even though I still look like one. I'm 44.

When you feel comfortable enough. Maybe after you have some kids or get married or feel like you need to cover up a little bit. If later on in life if you still like the juniors then I say stick with it. Just stay with whatever makes you feel the most comfortable. Don't buy stuff fromt the misses department becuase you feel you have to. Just stay at the juniors untill you feel you want to cover up a little more.

mid 20's to 30's. Shop at NY & Co. Its a store that has great clothes for this age group. Their definitely not old and baggy. They are all the HOTTEST new fashions for young women, without them looking like they wannabe teens again. Good luck! Oh yeah and don't forget about Saks Fifth Avenue. (If you can afford it)

I don't think that having children necessarily means one has to start wearing Sag Harbor and Alfred Dunner. I am 26, have two children, and I still get the majority of my clothing from the junior's section. I wear a 3 or 5, and having children has not impacted my clothing decisions. I never really dressed too form-fittingly anyway, but I have changed my style as I have gotten older.
There are lots of "in-between" styles in juniors that don't necessarily look like you have to be 15 to wear them (for example, I don't wear say, t-shirts with cartoons on them) and I really prefer the way junior's jeans fit versus misses.
I wear a lot of Express and Gap too though, which has more transitional things that are not really too matronly or too kiddie.
And I cannot wear most of the misses sizes either. I would be swimming in even their X-Small sizes, so I guess when I get 40, baggy clothes it shall be. As long as you are comfortable and tastefully dressed, it doesn't really matter what department you bought it from.

Shopping for fit can take 5 years. Start soon. The store
designers have some info online for who shops there. Maybe
someone you see your size wears what your trying to find.
Takes many campus age two or three years to find a start.
