my daughter incountered a shadow in her son's bedroom go past his TV, after a few minutes she felt a brush go past her and she got very hot (but only her back). She said so hot she felt like she was standing next to her fire place. I've always heard if you meet a spirit you get cold, does anyone have any explanations.

For most spirits feeling cold is correct. But not so for demons (fallen Angels) also it is said that to step into a mystical path way is also suppose to create heat. So if she and her family are ok then what she could have saw was a spirit traveling along some mystical path and in-between path Some times a spirit can become visible for a very short period of time. Also tell your daughter to next stay inside her home for if it was a man she may have not been able to control the situation and place both her and her son in danger......... Also if it was a demon she could also been attacked and really have placed her son and everyone else she comes in contact with in danger.... So next time just call 911.......................... I've never gotten cold around spirits. Or hot.
As for the shadow, it was probably a shadow ghost. Doesn't mean much.
I've seen two myself.
It has NOTHING to do with god or the devil. It's just a ghost.

differnt people feel differently when they encounter a spirit. especially a negative one. my friend gets a stifling feeling when there is a negativ one around her, as if she is being smothered, but when it's not harmful she just senses someone watching her, or feels as if someone is with her when she can't see anyone.

It's nothing. Just your daughter transfering a cultural understanding of what ghosts are while her eyes are playing tricks on her.
