She's sweet and all that. But doesn't seem to have the stature of a news anchor. I thinke Bryant Gumble or Dianne Sawyer would've been a better pick.
Nothin personal Katie...she just seems really awkward.

She is a sweet interviewer and fit well with an AM fluff program. But I can't see her looking properly dramatic as she announces a world shaking event.

A BIG thumbs down. A news anchor, she isn't. But no one watches CBS news anyway. CBS always has the lowest ratings fo the network news stations. First they gave us Dan Rather ( rather not watch) who was better than taking sleeping pills, and now Katie (fluff and fold) Couric. HELLO CBS anybody home??
