In many places, "mineral water" is often colloquially used to mean carbonated water (which is usually carbonated mineral water, as opposed to tap water)."
Mineral water is water containing minerals or other dissolved substances that alter its taste or give it therapeutic value. Salts, sulfur compounds, and gases are among the substances that can be dissolved in the water. Mineral water can often be effervescent. Mineral water can be prepared or can occur naturally.
Sulfur compounds and various gases would not promote good fish health. I would recommend against using it for water changes.
Weekly partial water changes are the single most important thing you can do to keep your fish happy and healthy and your tank looking its best. I do 25-30% changes on all my tanks every week. It takes me about 3.5 hours.

It diepends on the type of fish you have as to whether mineral water is good or bad. I'm assuming you mean you used tap water, from your question. That is ALL I've used in many, MANY years of keeping fish, including 4 years working in and managing fish stores. You didn't mention how much water you changed, the type of filter you use, the number of fish or how big your aquarium is. As a general rule, you should NEVER change more then 1/3 of the water, and I usually go with 1/4 or 1/5 even. The LARGER the aquarium, the less often you need to change the water. If you have a 10 gallon or larger aquarium, I would not change water every week...more like every month. By the way, 10 gallons is a small aquarium. It should have no more then 10 small fish in it. When you do change the water, I would recommend a gravel vacuum to get the uneaten food, poop and others stuff out.

You are not supposed to use bottled water,I don't know why but the guy at my local fish shop told me not to!I use tap water with the correct chemicals to remove chlorine and chlorimene,it would cost a fortune to use bottled water anyway so why bother when tap water will do!if everything is as it should be then you are doing well,if it ain't broke don't fix it!

I don't know for sure about the stuff in bottled water, but tap water usually isn't ballenced it takes about *a month* for the Nitrate, Nitrite, and Ammonia to balence out. It sounds crazy but I'm pretty sure it's true
