Does it have more to do with knowing there's a legal and unrestricted fallback. (irresponsibility and wrecklessness) or is it because girls and guys in the age of information and technolgy still can't figure out where babies come from, they can't read the directions on their contraception, SHould this failure be blamed squarely on the "Choice" feminism, planned parenthood, etc. who had DECADES already to teach them and they still can't figure it out?

Isn't it true the abortion rate in recent years has come down to ethics and morals based in information and NOT rolling condoms on to bananas? I find it offensive they want to take any credibility at all for something they failed dismally at for years--on purpose, someone's making money! It's only the truth that has come out and the internet that has spread awareness about fetology. Admit it.

To a degree, it's because you can get one.

In states where parental notification laws are ratified, statistics show a 17% average drop in teen pregnancy rates in the year after such laws go into effect. It means a teen cannot 'hide' a pregnancy.

As for 'coat hangers', if anyone has stats on them, bring them on. We know for sure that 40m unborn children were never given a chance at life, thanks to the 'enlightened' Roe V Wade decision.

So it's Planned Parenthood's fault for not educating everyone in the country?

The U.S. abortion rate has dropped significantly during the last ten years, particularly among teenagers, and experts attribute the decline to better awareness of contraception and a fear of disease that has cut down on sexual activity.

the easier we make it for people to behave irresponsibly the more will do so. every time.
the more money the government give to the poor the more poor we will have, the more contraceptives are given to kids the more kids will have sex, the more that abortions are provided the more unwanted pregnancies there will be. there are no exceptions.

Rates have come down and that's probably a combination of sex education (birth control of all forms) and other factors.

Abortion is legal and legally decided. It will not change, get used to it. Making them illegal is bad public policy.

There will always be stuipd and irresponsible people in the world.

Would you prefer it that we make it illegal just as they had back in the 50's with the back alley and clothes hanger abortions? which resulted in the death of hundreds of women.

banning abortion isn't going to solve the problem. It will only make it worse.

Democrats believe that women are so dumb that they don't know what causes pregnancy.
How insulting.
