I've heard a lot of people say that USC has not played any hard games and they have an easy schedule.

They destroyed Arkansas who is playing in the SEC championship game.

They beat Nebraska who is playing in the Big 12 championship game.

They beat a good Notre Dame (around the same score as Notre Dame vs Michigan).

They also beat a good Cal team who has traditionally given them good games in the past.

Also, the Pac-10 is a good confrence when you look from top to bottom. The #7 or #8 teams have the ability to beat the #2 or #3 teams in the confrence. This is not something you can say about most big confrences.

I would say they've played about the same schedule as Michigan. I'm not trying to argue who deserves to play in the National Championship game, just responding to those who think they haven't played anyone.

I agree with you - they deserve to be the #2 team in the nation

Alot of people just hate on USC because they win games and go to the top bowl games. It is more envy than anything else they wish their team had as much success as USC. So they hate the winners and ignore their actual accomplishments. Think about it you had fans claiming that USC's 36 point victory over Arkansas was some kind of fluke. They actually tried to say that Arkansas was really the better team even though they lost by 36.

It is just the way some fans are they don't want to give credit where credit is due.

I would agree that USC has a tougher schedule...The Pac 10 is stronger from top to bottom than the Big 10...USC has to play Cal, UCLA, Washington, and Arizona State...

The Big 10 seems to revolve around Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State more often than not...more predictable than the Pac 10...

...and I'm an objective Notre Dame fan for the record...and yes, we got pushed around by both Michigan and USC this year...Damn it...

Actually they've played a tougher schedule than Michigan, because USC hasn't played two MAC schools or a really bad SEC team like Vanderbilt. Add to that the fact that the Big Ten has some really bad teams this year (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern).

USC is a good team. Their schedule is a little bit weaker than some other teams. If they lose to UCLA then their not in the BCS Championship and I say Michigan will take over.

You've got a good point. My beef is that Michigan's only loss is to the #1 ranked team in the nation and only lost by a field goal. Be that as it may, USC will win tomorrow and play OSU for the title. It's not like there's anything I can do about it.

Yeh man, you are right. USC played well against good teams too. Football is never that easy anyways. I would say that Michigan is better team this year and I would like them to go in National Title (just for change).

USC is going to the championship and they are deserving. I do not think the UCLA game will be close. Ohio State is a great team, and it will be a good game. Good question.
