Wait until she is 18-years old, the legal age, and then sue her in "small claims court" - pay off this bill as quickly as you can, so you don't ruin your credit and have a huge "interest" charge added to it. Bite the dust until she is 18 and you will get All you money back. Cover yourself, by sending her a Registered Letter, in that letter, detail your Actions, and give her the opportunity to clear this matter now, or face the consequences. You can find the appropriate wording for this letter at the Library, under Legal Notices! - Don't ever sign your name for anyone, not a relative,a friend, or even your immediate family. Always remember, if they come to you for money, they sure have a Bad Credit Rating, so the stats show over 70% never pay the money back, not even parents.. Good Luck, and Merry Christmas..

wait.. prepaid phones means that you PAY in advance. so how can she have a $800 bill on a prepaid phone?

doesn't make sense

but you'd have to take her parents to court.

YOU can call the cel phone company and put a cut service on her phone number, thereby cancelling her out of the service. WHO is the service contract under?

No, the person who entered into the contract would have to sue her parents. Or, you can wait a year and take her, if the statute of limitations for small claims does not say otherwise.
