NEVER! If you accidentally get pregnant or if even if you are raped, it's always better to have the baby. You can always give him/her up for adoption. Believe me, there are plenty of people who would love to adopt. I know of people that had an abortion and for whateve reason, they wish they hadn't.

I don't think I can take the emotional consequences of my action then. I am not good at dealing with the guilt and I guess even years after doing it, I'll pause and imagine what it would have been like to have the baby and what kind of person he or she would have turned out to be... I think I love babies and even if I will have to be a single mother in a closed culture, where I will be judged harshly and my baby will suffer as well, I will take it as a challenge to keep the baby and care for it. Abortion is also destructive for my body and I don't want to do something to hurt myself. However, I firmly believe in every woman's right to make a choice and even if theoratically I don't think I will do it, put in the situation really, I don't know what I will do. I know my family will flip and I can't cause them pain... and if I had a one night stand and I don't know anything about the guy, then it's tough imagining raising up his child. I might become bitter.

At this point, probably no, unless it were a case of my health or a severely abnormal fetus. I'm an adult, I've got a good job and a serious partner who I plan to be with until one of us is dead. Having a kid, while not something I really want, wouldn't be a horrible thing. We'd work it out.

If you'd asked me ten years ago, when I was seventeen, newly dumped by a jerk who I thought had loved me, and staring at the pregnancy test stick dreading the appearance of a second line... then probably yeah. Fortunately I didn't have to make that choice, but a baby at that point would have wrecked my life, and I would have been looking in the phone book under "A" so fast.

Nobody's going off hoppity-skip-hurrah to the abortion clinic, but it's impossible to say what you will do until it's you with the unwanted pregnancy. A lot of pro-life women have found themselves getting a termination, and a lot of pro-choice women have found that they couldn't face up to it for themselves. I don't have a moral issue with first trimester abortions at all.

Absolutely not!!! Being at this stage of my life we need to take responsibility of our actions and if you have a problem with keeping your legs closed that is your own problem. My friend just had one about a month ago and it about killed me, she was stupid and told me that there was no way she could get pregnant because shes too active and asked her if she was retarded. Turned out she was pregnant and had an abortion. there are so many people that cant have children and would give anything for one so why do people find it so easy to freely destroy their own flesh and blood?? Bottom line abortions shouldnt even be an option!!!

Yes, I have had one, and sometimes things happen in your life to where you need to make a decision. But just know this, this will be the hardest you ever make. and you will live with it for the rest of your life.

no, I believe in taking responsibility for my actions. If I allow myself to get pregnant, then I have a baby and raise the child.

No, because I don't care how the government slices it - it is a living being. Yea it may not have a face yet but is a living soul that God has created thru you.
