it's practically impossible.. you could theoretically look for older versions of individual software, but win95 itself is no longer maintained by micro$oft for many years now, and it's flooded with security holes.. not a very good idea

You have two choices, struggle along with the 95 system or get a new computer. The hard drive on the 95 operating system probably has a 5 g hard drive, maybe 10. This will not be big enough to even load windows xp. Why would you want to use such an old computer anyway?

Microsoft doesn't support Windows 95 any longer, and no modern software will run on it. I really liked that O/S, as well, but I moved on (actually was pulled on through O/S 2, Win 98, Linux, Unix, then finally O/S X.).
Consider trying out a Mac; I love mine. Simple to use, lots of good programs, intuitive set-ups (if any). Play with one at the Apple store; you'll get a good idea of whether or not you like it.

First step to get a Windows 95 comp up to date: Buy Windows XP.
Windows 95 is not supported anymore, by Microsoft updates and by most applications.

Look for a new tower system, or a refurbished one from Dell... you can use your monitor, maybe sound card / speakers. With the LOW prices this time of year, you can get a whole new system for less than you think, and put your old one on eBay!

You better dream on! To begin with, your PC is too old and antiquated! Dont even try to upgrade it with hardware or software! Trash it and start over!
