I have a myspace account i just dont know how to use the im.....help me?

You have to download the myspace im software.... click on it and try to send a message it will tell you that you do not have the software and then ask you if you want to download it.

When you're on your home page (not your actual profile page) click on "Account Settings", then click on "IM Privacy Settings" & choose either "Only Friends can IM me" or "Anyone can IM me". You don't have to sign up for it. It's just an account option.

you don't have to sign up for it. You might need to change your account settings, so you can ACCEPT people's IMing, but other than that, it is already there, in your contact table. I know it says you can "sign up" for their IM, but that doesn't matter.
