i would say yes most british people would consider the beatles the best band ever but paul mccartney is not very popular at the minute

The British have a great number of singers/bands, etc who have influenced world music. The Beatles are right at the top of an earth shattering list, including the Stones. Music as we know it today, inclusive of all genres, would not have been possible without the influence of the Beatles. “Four Boys from Liverpool who Changed the World”.

The Beatles were The Best, Their talent was absolutely amazing and there can never be anybody to beat them. John lennon was a genius and also George Harrison was wonderful. Everyone world wide in the music business look up to them because fellow musicians know there worth, John and Paul were incredible songwriters together....your English is very good, well done....

Well, I like a lot of rock bands, but I do think The Beatles are in the top 5. They definitely have been the most influential. Also, I do agrre with you that John and Paul were both great humanitarians. Well, Paul still. Also, George was great! And Ringo still is too!

The Beatles are the best as there will never be another group like them. John and Paul were equally good singers. It depended on what the song called for as far as vocals.

They weren't the best, but they were the first of their type
Paul McCartney wasn't even the best Beatle (George was!)
but that's just my opinion, music is a personal preference, so if you like the Beatles, who am I to judge?
by the way Your English is better than most English people's!

The Beatles are Monotonous ..they were only so popular as there wasn't anything else around at the time .. and Paul McCartney is a very boring silly old man. Blunt but ..true..

the beatles are the most over-hyped band ever. musically bland, lyrically okay but just generally not very good. i kind of feel sorry for people who are that sheltered that they end up thinking the beatles are the greatest band ever. if they had arrived in any decade other than the 1960s they wouldn't have gotten far.
and your english is okay; gramatically a bit shaky. i can't believe somebody said it was brilliant. it's a nice compliment but it's a lie

I THINK HAD THE BEATLES STARTED SINGING IN TODAYS era, they wouldn't stand a chance, but in the 60's they were new, vibrant, and different, as for Sir Paul, in my opinion he was over rated, however, one of the nicest persons on the planet, but his singing is something else to be desired....but he, and John Lennon wrote good music..

The Beatles are the greatest. The greatest of all time? Lot of people will say yes, some will say no.
BTW, that new release of Beatles songs called LOVE is absolutely fantastic. Do buy it. you won't be disappointed.
