love her!!! my husband is from colombia...i think she has made an impact on the younger generation due to the fact that she has values for herself that she will not compromise & she is really hot w/out being too slutty. she's not afraid to speak up, she loves her femaleness, shows it, but still keeps the mystery going...gloria & emilio estefan took her under their wings & she has made anyone who is Latino or loves one proud...

I love Shakira!! You'd have to deaf and blind not to!! She has an amazing voice, she's the best female dancer, she's sexy and very humble, plus she gives a lot to charity! She's just an all around wonderful person!!

Of course!!! The girl can sing, dance, and not to mention- write some amazing lyrics!!! Her videos are so original, they always leave her fans waiting for more. She is known worldwide regardless of language barriers! I know a woman that wishes she knew Spanish so she could understand the song "tortura", but either way she can't stop listening to it. Shakira is a very talented, yet humble artist, what's not to like?

Yes, very much. My husband and I see her on the spanish language t.v. all the time. She has a charity program named "Pies Descalzos" (Bare Feet), in Columbia, South America. She is a very generous and sweet lady. Nobody can sing and dance like Shakira.

Her hips don't lie...she has some good songs and she uses her money for some really good purposes, she opened up a lot of schools in Colombia to help all the poor children that were abandoned or such. She is setting a really good example for other artist. Did you ever hear Schwarzenegger help the poor kids of Austria?
