Believe me I did!
I braved it a couple of months ago and went to the IHOP. We had to wait in line and I was standing where I could see the waiters and waitresses and they were picking the bacon and sausage off the plates with their bare hands and rearrangeing them on the plates. Needless to say I didn't eat any bacon or sausage; but then again they probably dropped my pancakes on the ground before they brought them to me. I think about this when I watch the movie Waiting. (although I have gotten sick from my own cooking, ha ha)

Yes. I have gotten sick eating from a restrant. I suffered a bad case of food poisoning after eating some onion rings from a Jack in the Box located in San Bernardino,Ca. I do not eat there anymore. I was really disappointed too; I love the chicken sands. from there. Now I'm scared though so I just avoid the Box altogether.

Yes!! I get sick from eating at Fiesta Ranchera. I don't know where you are at, but we have this little family owned chain in town and there are about three locations. I don't know what it is about their food, but everytime I go there, my stomach hurts horrendously. I guess the effect of the food from that place varies from person to person and it actually tastes great. But just to be on the safe side, if you have a Fiesta Ranchera near you, I would suggest eating there with caution.

Yes I have. I ate at a Mexican restaurant once and got a baaaad case of food poisoning. All I could think of was when Fred Sanford said "Beans and disease to you too," to a hispanic guy on the old show Sanford and Son. That phrase has new meaning for me now.

I can't prove it but i think I got sick from a Wendy's burger once. I felt great all day, had that for supper, and about 1am was puking my guts out until the next day. i was also served an undercooked chicken sandwhich at Chili's once - I mean RAW in the middle. Nasty.

Yep, I actually got food poisoning from an Italian restaurant, Strings. I have never eaten there again, even though I know it was a "fluke". Just the thought totally make me sweat.

No, not yet, luckily! However, I have recently read about the incident where many people got sick after eating spinach in a salad at a restaurant! It is possible that your experience is not unique.

not only did i get deathly ill but the whole family did one at a time. we went to this local mexican dive andi mean dive and was waited on by this dude he must of weighted 360 lbs,and he was getting peed off at us for taking so long to order,he was rolling his eyes and sighing and just very rude,well that night montazumas revenge hit us all. i have never been so sick since i had chemo. i found out later that fat boy had spit in our salsa,i havnt step foot ever again in that place. it was called Los Margaritas.slimy place
