I'm curious to know what genre or themes are more acceptable for the 40's crowd.

of course I would.....in fact we do on occassion....it all depends what turns you both on.....there are a ton of really bad ones out there so you have to watch a few before you find one that is enjoyable....and then it will just be certain parts that you will find entertaining and exciting for you...relax...have fun with it....good luck

I would watch them with my husband if he wanted me to. I watch porn once in a while on-line, so does he.....but we're never together at the same time. I am not sure about the theme or genre thing, cause I am not in my 40's but, I am sure whatever floats your boat is acceptable. I like girl on girl

I'm 26 and I watch it with my hubby. I do it for humor as some of these things can get downright funny. My husband doesn't mind me watching with him once in a while and it's not like he watches these types of videos all the time anyway. And...he likes the fact that I don't make a big deal about it when he does watch.

I would consider something with a story line .(well plotted) I'm not a lady, however my wife and I have a pretty good selection of adult DVDs. Try looking for Vivid, Pick up lines, or classic Retro. You can ask your husband to find one he thinks fits the mood or you can go to your local Video club (store and browse yourself)
my wife thinks that the movies act as an mood enhancer and you'd be surprised on what you can learn... Good luck...

I'm not married, but I'd watch them with my SO. I watched with my ex while we were married, but I found them incredibly dull: no plot, no acting, no good music. They tend to have too much anal and girl-on-girl action for my taste...
If I could find a tasteful video with hetero couples and not so much emphasis on the anal part, my current lover & I would watch together more often. Until then, we'll just make a video of US and watch it.

I dated a guy once and watched them with him. The relationship went horribly bad, not due to the movies of course. But that might be why I wouldn't watch them with my husband now. Not sure why...just wouldn't.
We're Mid 30's.

Yes i would. It sometimes, when both partners are into it makes for a happier relationship and often times, spouse's will not wander. Why should they?

I went with my ex to a blue movie a long time ago at a theatre. I laughed through the whole thing, it obviously did nothing for our marraige as he is my ex.

I have no problem watching these movies with my husband, they just bore me to death so we never do. in a marriage this is an acceptable activity.
