1200000 seconds
= 1200000/60 minutes
= (1200000/60)/60 hours
= (1200000/60)/60)/24 days
= 13.8888 days.

It's a units problem. Here's how to approach such problems. In the discussion below I use 'div' to stand in for the division sign.
You have: SECONDS
You want: DAYS
You know: 24 hrs/day; 60 mins/hr; 60 sec/min.
Given SECONDS, get MINUTES by division (sec/1 div sec/min == sec/1 * min/sec == min): 1,200,000 / 60 -> 20,000
Given (derived) MINUTES, get HOURS by division (minutes/1 div min/hr == sec/1 * hr/min == hr): 333 1/3
Given (derived) HOURS, get DAYS by division (hrs/1 div hr/day == hrs/1 * day/hrs = days): 13 8/9
Remember that working with units is like fractional multiplication and division: you want to set up the calculation so that the units you don't want cancel out. The units that are left are the units for the next operation. Treat something expressed as days, grams, meters, lumens, etc. as (whatever the unit is)/1 for the purposes of working out the cancellations.

12,000,000''=20,000'=333.33hrs/24hrs
333.33hrs/24hrs=13days+.888
1,200,000''=13days+.88875
1,200,000''=13days+21.33hrs
N.B_ Only a couple 2.67hrs miss to get 14days.
1,200,000''= 13days +9/8days
