I wonder how people deal with snow for months like that too. I'm also from Georgia and you know down here if we get anything more than just the THREAT of snow grocery shelves get emptied and life shuts down. I was in NJ once for 3 days once and couldn't believe life went on as normal with 10 inches of snow on the ground...totally boggles my mind :)

LOL NO way! I love snow. I spent a christmas w/o it once and it was so depressing! How do you live without it! But it still hasn't started where I am. Just freakin rain! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! But it is a little tiresome when we get blizzards in like March.

Yes and no. One of those hate/love relationships. We get very tired of it during February, a very blah month; and January is very very cold, so we are indoors a lot and get sick of four walls mostly then. It is beautiful, magical, messy, yucky, dangerous, fun, very cold, heavy, light, sprinkling, blinding, slushy, sleety, and all around overwhelming. I love snow, hate the cold. Best winter day is when it snowed day before, then it is warm [30's - 40's) with little wind and lots of sun. Warm and fresh snow to play in! Until it melts...lol.

Well, here in NJ on December 1 the temp. is 70 degrees. Totally abnormal for this time of year.

But normally, I do get sick of it by February.

It snowed the other day and was really slushy, I need new boots.

So yes, shovelling a driveway is a unique satisfying experience though.

It was 30 degrees here in Mid West yesterday and I almost died. The roads got iced and they closed schools and everything, the roads were totally vacant. How do they do it up there?
