I have. I read it in college for a graduate class on adolescent literature. The book was ok...a little melodramtic and the main character was a bit of a "mary sue" in my opinion. I also like my vampires to be more sinister than sensual....so...yeah. However after reading it for class my class and I got to have a rap session with a middle school book club who read this and other young adult fiction books and a lot of them liked it. So..it wasn't to my liking but it wasn't a horrible book. It has its moments and young adults will probably like it. Also..the sequal is in stores now. I might read it just to catch up on thing. :) hope this helps. Also, Have you read it and did you like it?
