3y-21+xy-7x
Just simplify
3(y-7)+x(y-7)
(3+x) (y-7)
3+x=0 and y-7=0
-3 -3 +7 +7
x= -3 y= 7

3y-21+xy-7x=0
3y+xy-7x=21
let's factorise :
(y-7)x+3y=21
this is a straight equation:form ax+by+c
Set x=0 y=21/3 y=7
y=0 -7x=21 x=-21/7 x=-3
3y-21+xy-7x is a straight equation having a point A(-3,7).

I'm not sure what the questoin is, but I suspect it's factoring.

You have to use a method called grouping. Factor the first two terms and the last two terms.

3(y-7) + x(y-7)

Then, group the "like terms" of (y-7) to get

(3+x)(y-7)

what are you trying to do? that's just an equation, f(x,y). You gotta be more specific.
