LOL only stupid people listen to them. THANK YOU for not falling into the trap of "i'm-beautiful-famous, i'm on the cover of this-that so-you-hafta-listen-to-me". You know that they actually call themselves political historians? And actually take themselves seriously!?! Lord, stick with the movies and stop trying to think! You can't! Get over it and live!

I think a lot of it is that they get so much attention and they also have a lot of people around them telling them what to do and think. They are, in effect, 'programmable'.
I think my favorite was Warren Beatty on CA's prop 87, which was a tax increase on Gasoline. Warren Beatty doesn't have to worry about the price of gas at the pump, now does he?
I think actors spend so much time pretending for their roles, they have no idea who they really are. There are exceptions, but I think that's general.
Frankly, Sean Penn had no business visiting Saddam, but, it's a free country. He's free to make an *** of himself.

They have feelings towards others ..they are not war mongers..they are every thing.. that a politicians isn't

Well, becuase they're celebs they think they have some theory that their opinion is better than the rest of ours.
They're entitled to their opinion but unlike the rest of us, they have a more public forum to express it. Oh, and the money to back it up.

They are better known and loved than our president by lots of our fellow Americans and they use that for their purposes. That purpose is most of the time more sales of their images and praise from the masses, they don't really give a damn.
