HI I am having problems with updating halo 2 on my xbox 360?

HI I am having problems with my xbox 360 this is the problem

When I put in halo 2 for the first time on the xbox 360 it says it needs to update so i can play online.

I press ok and the old xbox update screen comes up ( the original green xbox one). It downloads fine and at the end says. The updated game will now run please do not turn off your xbox console.

The screen goes black and my xbox 360 freezes.



I thought this would be ok to just turn the xbox 360 off here and start the game up. the thing is when i sign into halo 2 on the xbox 360 it says something along the lines of. THE UPDATE YOU DOWNLOADED IS CORRUPT OR DOES NOT WORK PLEASE TRY TO DOWNLOAD THIS UPDATE AGAIN.



PLEASE HELP!! i tried it over and over but it always freezes then says the update is damaged.

I know this is not much consolation, but it is what I would do. Go to Best Buy. Then, go to the Geek Squad inside the Best Buy. They may be able to help. Otherwise, try going to an EB Games or Gamestop when the store is not busy and ask the attendant behind the counter to take a look. Good luck.

Do you have the Halo 2 map pack expansion? If so all the updates are included on that disc and you should be totally fine to play online after that.

wow um there is many things that could be wrong but there not something you can really fix take it to the geek squad
