My friends all say the girls they have had sex with enjoy the fact their genitals are shaved, and I (myself being a virgin) wants the first girl I have sex with to really enjoy it, so I decided to shave down there. On the area right above my penis, it kind of hurts a bit when I shave (when I move the razor upwards) and it cuts me a bit...looks a bit red and all that crap where I shaved....kinda cut..nothing too bad but it mainly annoys the piss out of me.

How can I get rid of this? My friends say after a while it won't do that...but I still wanted to get some other opinions and help on it.

I use a tri-blade razor that is like a manual one...but when turned on vibrates a bit (feels really good on face and the area down there.....well OTHER than the times it cuts me lol).

Your friends have given you some seriously bad advice. The hair has a purpose - two purposes, actually. First, it protects the area from friction. People who shave usually get rashes, zits, and bumps. Ugh. Second, it allows air circulation in what is naturally a moist area. No hair means the sweat does not evaporate properly, so you stink! And you may even get a fungal or bacterial infection.

It's nice that you want the girl to enjoy sex with you, but she'll enjoy it more if you are not all red and itchy. My guy has never shaved, and I never want him to!

Shave down not up. Go with the hair instead of against it and it will help with the razor burn. Use a lot of lotion afterwords to keep the skin soft. It will get better. By the way not all girls like it you might want to check with your girl first. My husband did it once because he thought the same thing and I didn't like it at all.

I would suggest not shaving--try just trimming the hair. I've done both, and trimming is definitely best. It looks good and it's easier to maintain. Plus, the shave bumps, stubble, redness, irritation, and ingrown hairs are disgusting. I would guess your friends sex-partners lied to them (people often do.) No one really likes a clean-shaven dick (unless you have a pedophilia fantasy...)

You are supposed to shave with the hair not against it because if you cut the hair too short it will make ingrown hairs.
