without using any devices?

I know you said no devices, but unless you have perfect pitch you'll need to use something. Tuning forks work well and they're cheap. They work especially well on acoustic instuments.

Get a song you know and can sing in tune. Remember what key it's in and sing a note from the song and compare it with the corresponding note on the guitar and tune to that. My song is 'You've got to Hide Your Love Away' by the Beatles and I know the opening note is 'G' which I can hit accurately. So my 3rd string is tuned to that note and the rest tuned to the G string. Alternatively if you have a record and know which key it is played in you could tune to that.

Use your ears and the harmonics on the twelfth fret

strike the "open e" string and then it's harmonic on the 12th fret, they should vibrate in unison - thats e and then you go from there (assuming you know how to tune it by fret or harmonic)
