I can send files from the phone to the computer, and I can get files from the phone, from the computer. However, I can't transfer files the other way. My computer is a Mac, and I've tried dragging and dropping as well as the "Get" option, and it's not working. If I try to access the computer's files from my phone, it won't let me, even though they are in each other's "favorites" list. Any suggestions, please? If it helps, my phone is a Samsung D500.

There's a difference between OBEX file transfer and OBEX object push profile. The lack of the latter would explain your predicament.

Who is your carrier? Some carriers block access to file transferring features. I had a Razr from Verizon and they disabled the ability to transfer files via Bluetooth. And yes, I have a Mac.
