OMG By DEFAULT they had the menu bar disabled!!! and then when i turn it on it's BELOW the address/ back-forward refresh stop buttons!! I know it sounds silly but this is just really bothering me, I am OCD. I want the menu bar on top please. Is there anyway?? I cannot find a way, I think I have to switch back to IE6.

By "menu bar" I mean the "file -edit - view - tools - help" bar.

You can find a script here, it can move your menu bar to the top
of IE7

No, there is no way to move the Menu Bar above the Address Bar in Internet Explorer 7. The only way to move toolbars is to unlock the tool bars (like when you enable Menu Bar) and move them around. Even with that, you cannot move the Menu Bar above the Address Bar. Sorry!

i dont think that you can switch the bars over. you need to contact tech support at microsoft about this issue and see what they say.
Personaly i'm unhappy with the look of IE7 i want to move the address bar directly above the open tabs. and have my other toolbars open above this, but sadly at this time i have been unable to find a way around this problem. lets hoe a future update solves this little problem on customisation.
i would also like to have a couple of the toolbars at the bottom of the window rather than the top but again thats an issue i hope will be solved in an update sometime soon.

Yes, right click any of the off-white parts on the browser, then go to Lock The Taskbar, so it is not checked, then click and drag the menu bar, I believe. Oh and IE6 is much better I have learned too, and dont feel bad about being OCD I am too.
