I think olay moisturising is really good for a dry skin, and for this age, you could use a little make up, not too much, I'm not a big fan of women in that age having an eyeshadow either, doesn't suit.

Pushing 50 here and a make-up artist as well. I really like working with Giorgio Armani Designer Shaping Foundation. It's a gorgeous product that gives excellent coverage and an overall radiant glow to the skin. Best of all, there's no need to powder this product before applying color on top. It's hydrating, fills in fine lines and wrinkles and is illuminating without any shine or shimmer added. Armani also makes an excellent under eye concealer in a tube that looks much like an eye liner. It's got total coverage for any under eye darkness and stays put without creasing. Gorgeous!

Second, I'd take a look at Laura Mercier foundation. They make an oil free as well as regular formula and for a sheerer look or in the summer when you don't need as much coverage, try Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer - buildable coverage with an SPF. Lovely!

If you're looking for a drug/grocery brand, try L'oreal's True Match Foundation. It has good coverage but, in my opinion it's not near as kind to the skin as the above brands.

Hope this helps...

Hi!

I am forty-eight and I have only found that Mary Kay works for me.
It actually rebuilds and renews the skin from the inside out and gets rid of dead surface cells. Protect the skin from further damage whilst repairing the already sun damaged and aging skin.

There is a whole regimen of products which you can use as they all work together. It is called the Miracle Set.

I have been using them for only two months and have recently signed up with the company because I love them so much.

If you would like more information about these products, please contact me at saintshar@hotmail.com

Hope this helps

I started using Arbonne skin care and make up. I love it. I use the mineral powder foundation. All of Arbonne's products are botanically based, pure, safe, and beneficial with no animal products in them.
My mom, who's 65, love the way my skin glowed when I started using it, so she's using it too now.
It's way cheaper than bare minerals, and lots more to choose from. I would recommend the NutrminC Re9 skin care regime. It's the anti-aging line. You will absolutely love the way it makes your skin feel. I can mail you the 5 step sample if you are interested.
While your using the sample, you can check out all the products on-line at http://www.arbonne.com
If you decide you want to order I would recommend ordering wholesale. You save 35% for a whole year! And it only cost $29 for the membership. And there's no minimum order quota to meet. That's what my mom and I did. You will need my ID# in order to sign up. Mines 16459642

e-mail me at loridori4@sbcglobal.net if you want a sample.

I think the best thing is not the makeup but the skin care. Arbonne has the best skin care and make up that you'll find. There is a $50.00 Internet Special at www.mindyflint.myarbonne.com
