my computer wont let me have updates it says my computer is not valadated and that i have to buy one for 150 bucks

If you have a legally obtained version then you should call support with your Product number and ask this question.
If it's not, then there's the problem. It can be dangerous for you to go without updates (I'm assuming this is Windows.) because some of these updates contain important security fixes.
