Win at Tic Tac Toe?

I know that tic tac toe is a game played by mainly young children because when two adults play it almost always ends up in a tie. Is there a way to win everytime if you go first, or to have a better chance of winning by going first?

Nope, unless someone makes an error, the game will always end in a tie. Most mistakes are obvious and easy to avoid, thus the lack of play.

There is a way you can always win if you go first, as long as the person that goes second does not pick the middle. If that person pics the middle, you cant be guaranteed a win.

well i always win or tie by going either in the middle or 1 corner then trying to block the other player, 2 points yes

Well, not every time, but going first and/or always pick the middle square gives you better odds.Control the middle and you can control the game. Like chess.

I always start in a corner than make my next move across to the opposite corner than my third move is placed at another corner so I have a 3 way advantage at a win
