The average washout period for Depo Provera is between 3 to 6 months. But then the washout period also varies from one person to another because of the interpersonal variations. Each person's biochemical makeup is different. With this in mind, it is possible that you can become pregnant within 1 to 2 cycles after the discontinuation of Depo Provera. Hope this helps.

Unofficially there are a lot of reports of woman having trouble getting pregnant once they get off the shot. I was on the shot for two years and was told it could take up to three years for me to ovulate on a regular schedule again. They said this wasn't common, but it was possible.

I did the same thing, I took the depo vera shot for sometime, I ended up having to stop because it takes calcium from your bones, so I switched to the patch. You can very well end up pregnant any way, they do nothing to your reproductive system in a harmful way. So the tip was wrong.

It is possible after you come off of any birth control that you could have trouble concieving for a while but it shouldn't be permanent...at least not from the shot.

As far as I know anytime you go off birthcontrol you can become pregnant, actually quite quickly in the first month of going off (maybe just quickly with pill type???)....See birth control stops you from ovulating..no birth control means your body will ovulate and you can become pregnant.

It will take a few months to work its self out of your system. So it can take a few months after the last shot for you to get pregnant.

Yes...you can still get pregnant...it depends on how long before your body cycles it out of your system. If that makes any sense at all.
