I recently bought a nice antique,Pittston Stove and just wanted some info on it. I know the originally company burned and when it reopened the name was changed. Don't know to what. Any help I'd appreciate. My stove is a #14 Forest Favorite. Thank You

your question was interesting to me although i know very little about antique stoves. They are beautiful works of art. This web site (http://www.family-images.com/images/PA/Pittston/Pittston2/) has pictures from the town of Pittston. I found several references to the fire. There is a rich history of course to this city.
Just for fun I found these websites that may help you especially the antique stove exchange and antique stoves.com. Surely there are people at these sites that are knowledgeable enough to help you. Good luck and congratulations on a lovely antique.
