I have been getting into Buffy the vampire slayer recently, and the more I watch the more I like. It is proper American coming of age stuff, the vampire slaying just being a side thing. What do you think?

I was addicted to Buffy for a long time. The interaction of the charecters really draw you in and hold you emotionally.There's also great wit and sarcasm. I'm glad you're getting into it. It's great stuff.

I think you're right. Buffy does Rock! I'm a recent convert to Buffy too. I'm only on the second season now, but it is better than the first. I hear the later seasons are MUCH better.
One reason I like it is because my high school days really parallelled the Buffy-verse..I'm like Xander (but people tell me better looking), I had a crush/friendship (I could never get with her) with a hot girl who was supposed to be this religious savior, and we had some crazy friends. No Vampires though..

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite show. I own all seven seasons.Every episode even with the demons has a message or theme that goes with the show. Though when she starts collage and the episodes after it starts to deal with more adult issues.

I really like Buffy the vampire slayer, who says a girl/woman can't take care of herself. I think it also gives the message that we can be what ever we want to be.

It was a great show and I loved Buffy. Your analysis of the show is right too. It is all about the characters and their relationships. The vampires are there just for fun and drama. Enjoy it!!!

Buffy is great! I watched the whole thing and I have all the eps on VHS (older seasons) and DVD! I love Buffy!

I adored Buffy. For the most part, it was well-thought out and yes, dealt with many normal coming-of-age teenage-type stuff.
