dump him and find someone who wants to hang out with me. Whats the point of having a boyfriend if he doesnt want to be with you

Then either he is extremely shy.. or he just doesnt really like you too much anymore.
How old are you? Cuz i know when i was little, like 10-12 I had "boyfriends" and we never hung out cuz we were both too shy. If you are older than that.. then get a new bf. He prolly isnt interested anymore.

Honestly it usually means he is being shy instead of telling you to your face he gives you signs that he doesn't want to stay with you. If someone doesn't love or like you they try to push you away from them and hang out with others more. Sometimes they may ignore you, too.
