I saw warts appearing in my genital area that's why i went to see my doctor. My doctor told me that there is a chance that i am infected with HPV, does this mean that my partner was unfaithful? If so what should i do?

It has been maybe dormant, for quite some time. if you think your partner has been unfaithful ask him/her about it? and you ask any of your past sexual partners, about their health, but just dont blurt it out. ask them if they have had any recent updates about their health, or if their was anything wrong. Maybe you have gotten infected from your past. But the only way to help yourself is to help others. wear a Jimmy GODDAMMIT!!! and get annuals every year, to see where it will progress to.
oh yeah see if your health care provider can do an advancement chart or test. to see how old your problem is. Hope this you. LAter

Most people with HPV do not have a growth so if you have developed a growth (wart) you may have gotten the HPV from a previous partner or your present partner may have gotten it from a previous partner so there is no reason to be suspicious unless both of you have never been active with anyone else in which case someone is likely not telling the truth. HPV in a woman should be treated as it is sometimes linked to cervical cancer and there is now a 4 HPV strain vaccine.

HPV is a virus that can reside dormant in the skin of the vagina, vulva, and labia, as well as in the head of the penis and foreskin for a very long time and then suddenly become active for no apparent reason. It is not an indication of infidelity. If you think he HAS been messing around, you should start seriously reassessing your relationship; however, do NOT rely upon a HPV diagnosis as the only evidence of infidelity.

Now that you've been diagnosed with HPV, make sure your BF is aware of it and have him examine himself for warts or lesions.

As for yourself, you need to make sure you are SUPER faithful about getting annual PAP smears - HPV is the leading cause of cervical cancer.

If you are the first perso your partner was ever with, yes. If not, it could just be that they picked up the disease in the past and it's been dormant or you just hadn't showed symptoms from catching it until now. Do, dont just to conclusions about that right off the bat, but just talk to your partner for starts. Get the HPV test to be sure you have it or not. Then do your research and learn about it, and make sure it's watched more often than once a year.

No not at all. Unfortunately HPV is more common than Gonorrhea. It is contacted skin to skin, and there's no way to tell who has it. Many times there may be no external outbreaks at all. So please don't worry about unfaithfulness. There is NOOOO way to tell where it came from.

no it does not just be checked again and have your partner be checked you could have given it to your partner or your partner could have given it to you. so be checked and see of your doctor has anything you can do to be extra safe
